PUNE : Pune PMC News | If the nalas and sewer lines in your areas have not been cleaned, Municipal Commissioner Vikram Kumar has appealed to citizens to contact Deputy Commissioner Mahesh Patil (Department of Disaster Management) on 9689930531 and Disaster Management Officer (Class 1) Ganesh Sonune on 9689935462 with information about the areas and GPS location.

The PMC’s Sewerage Department is carrying out cleaning of nalas, water bodies, sewerage lines and chambers as a part of pre-monsoon work. There are 433 nalas in Pune and their length is 625 km. The stormwater lines are spread over 260 km and there are 58,859 monsoon chambers. The work of cleaning the nalas and chambers is supposed to get over by June 5, 2023. Hence, an appeal has been made by the civic body.

The mobile numbers provided by the PMC will be used for pre-monsoon and disaster management work which will make the task of addressing the complaints easier.
