Pune | PMC Standing Committee hikes fire service charges

Pune : Policenama online   – Pune | The Standing Committee of the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has hiked the service charges for issuing primary and final no objection certificates (NOC) to high rise and various special purpose buildings, informed Standing Committee Chairman Hemant Rasane. These buildings will have to install fire extinguishing system as precautionary measures before seeking NOC from the Fire Brigade Department.

The special purpose buildings up to 500 sq ft area with 15 metre height will have to pay
Rs 25 per sq mtr (minimum Rs 25,000) while those buildings who have an area of more than 500 sq ft will have to pay Rs 50 per sq mtr (minimum Rs 50,000).

The buildings with a height of 15 metres to 40 metres will have to pay Rs 100 per sq mtr (minimum Rs 1,00,000), buildings with 40 metres-70 metres height will have to pay Rs 250 per sq mtr (minimum Rs 2,50,000), buildings with 70 mtrs-100 metres height will have to pay Rs 400 per sq metre (minimum Rs 4,00,000), buildings with 100 metres -150 metres height will have to pay Rs 500 (minimum Rs 7,50,000) while buildings above 150 metres will have to pay 600 per sq mtr (minimum Rs 10,00,000), Rasane informed.
