Two dozen pilgrims injured as bus overturns
Kasganj (UP), Mar 21 (UNI) – Uttar Pradesh News | Around two dozen people, including 12 women, were injured when a bus carrying passengers overturned in Dholna area of Kasganj district here in Uttar Pradesh, police sources said here on Tuesday. (Uttar Pradesh News)
Police sources said that the incident took place around 3 am when the bus carrying pilgrims from Makkhanpur in Firozabad district to Rajghat Narora in Bulandshahr for Ganga Snan overturned. “The injured were taken to the district hospital by the police with the help of the local residents,” they said.
Meanwhile, taking cognizance of the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed the district administration officials to reach the hospital and ensure proper treatment of the injured. He has prayed for the speedy recovery of the injured.
