API Suraj Vishnu Chandanshive (42), a resident of Vasud, taluka Sangola was taking a walk after dinner near his residence on Wednesday night. When he walked up to Kedarwadi road, the assaulters suddenly attacked him with the sharp weapon. He died on the spot.
His family members searched for him as he did not return home for a long time. They discovered his body on Vasud-Kedarwadi road. They reported the matter to the police. PI Anant Kulkarni arrived at the spot with some police officials.
API Chandanshive’s body was sent to the Sangola Rural Hospital for a post-mortem. A case was registered against unidentified marauders. The police were investigating further.
