Mumbai : Policenama Online – The BMC has shut down the foot overbridge (FOB) at king circle which is on the arterial Dr BA road after declaring it dangerous.
The foot overbridge which connects to Gandhi Market in the area is located between Matunga and Sion flyover.

Locals said that with vehicles moving at a high speed along the stretch crossing from the road below is dangerous. In a recent audit, 29 bridges and foot over bridges have been declared dangerous in a re-audit done in the wake of the Himalaya FOB collapse at CSMT in March.
Eight FOBS have been razed so far and many others have been shut down. Some of those shut down is on Juhu Tara Road, Oshiwara and Ghatkopar.
