CPR plays an important role Police

Pune Feb 14 (UNI) – Centre for Police Research (CPR) Pune is playing a very important role for Police by organizing various training, workshops and research programs said Jyoti Kshirsagar S.P CPR pune here on Tuesday.

 

While welcoming to all participants of a day long workshop for Journalist here in Pune recently, she said that CPR is ideal for research activities and training envisioned to conduct and promote in-depth studies and fundamental and applied research pertaining to Police and related social as well as behavioral issues.

 

Kshirsagar said under the guidance of DG training and special units Sanjay Kumar, we are planning to organizing second workshops for working journalists in Pune very soon.

 

Talking to UNI Superintendent of Police (CPR) Mrs Kshirsagar said that main motive of CPR is research Book and magazine publications on police subjects. We are also conducting training of senior officers on different relevant topics to help them in daily policing situations.

Recently with able guidance of DG training Mr.Sanjay Kumar, we started one day workshop on Law for layman.

 

We have also included study consultation, Important laws,crime against women and child and cyber crime, she added.

 

She further said the recent training program which was organized journalist got tremendous response where reporters specially from crime journalism were present from Pune, neighboring Pimpri-Chinchwad and Rural areas. The workshop was inaugurated by Pune additional Commissioner of Police ( Crime) Ramnath Pokle. The dignitaries like Milind Datarange, Geeta Godambe, cyber expert Sandeep Gadia, Assistant Commissioner of Police (retd) Sambhaji Patil and other were present, added Kshirsagar.

 

She said the main motive behind organized the previous workshop to build close relationship between police and journalists while writing crime stories.

 

The experts were present from various field has interacted with journalists on various topics such as fundamental rights and entitlements of law, women and child crime, cyber crime, judicial process and important judgments. The many questions were raised by the journalists on various issues which was replied by experts.
