IMD places Raigad, Palghar under Orange Alert ; Predicts heavy rain even today

According to the Indian Meteorological Department, an orange alert has been issued on July 23 for Mumbai city, Mumbai suburbs, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Pune, Satara and Kolhapur districts. Normal rainfall is expected in Nashik, Aurangabad, Jalgaon, Jalna, Parbhani, Hingoli, Nanded, Akola and Nagpur districts.

An orange alert has been issued for Palghar, Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts on July 24, while Mumbai, Thane, Pune, Satara and Kolhapur districts are expected to receive normal rainfall.

On July 25, Orange Alert was issued for Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts. Mumbai, Palghar, Thane, Pune and Satara districts are expected to receive normal rainfall. Normal rains are expected in Raigad, Ratnagiri and Sindhudurg districts on July 26.

Satara | Landslide in Satara district, order to shift the entire village
