Man cheated for Rs 12 lakh through a mobile app in Pimpri Chinchwad

Pimpri : Policenama online Pune Pimpri Crime News | Investing in a mobile trading app has proven costly for a man. An unknown accused has cheated him of Rs 12 lakhs through the app. The incident happened between March 28, 2022 to July 26, 2022. (Pune Pimpri Crime News)

 

Ashirvad Mukund Uge (38) from Haveli has lodged a complaint at the Ravet Police Station. The police have registered an FIR under the sections 420, 406 of IPC, IT Act against the unknown accused.

 

According to the police, the complainant received an SMS on WhatsApp. In this, details about the Divine Cows App were given. Details were given to invest in the share market. Accordingly, the complainant invested Rs 11.90 lakh through the app. All the details that benefited from this were visible in the app.

 

But after a few days, all these details were deleted from the Divine Cows app. There was no balance in it. After realising being cheated, the complainant rushed to the police and lodged a complaint. The police are conducting further investigation.
