Man kidnaps cousin’s sister and parents after cousin fails to return borrowed money

A 29-year-old woman has lodged a complaint (116/23) at the Dattawadi police station. Accordingly, the police have registered an FIR against Kunal Raval, Panchal, Kunal Raval’s wife and their aide. The incident took place in a flat located between Sarasbaug and Nanded City from April 16 to 20.
According to the police, the complainant’s brother Sanket Takle needed money. Kunal Raval gave his gold chain and asked him to keep it as a mortgage and take money. Sanket took the chain but he did not bring it back. He did not pay the interest also. Even after Kunal Raval demanded his money, Sanket was not returning it. Kunal asked Sanket’s parents and sister to tell him to return the money but he did not return the money.
Later, he disappeared. On April 16, Kunal again demanded his money. Sanket’s parents were not giving his address to Kunal. Hence, Kunal abducted the complainant, her husband and her parents and took them away in a car. They were confined to a flat in Nanded City. They were released after four days on April 20 at 10 pm. Later, they approached the Dattawadi police and lodged a complaint. API Yuvraj Patil is probing the case.
