NCP MLA Rohit Pawar wishes to become a minister
Pune : Policenama online – NCP MLA Rohit Pawar on Saturday expressed his wish to become a minister. He was on a tour of Osmanabad district. “If the senior leaders give me an opportunity, I would do justice to the post,” he said. Thus he explained his wish to become a minister. He was speaking to the media.
This has given rise to the question: Is there a plan afoot to swear him in as a state minister? This is being discussed in political circles.
Rohit Pawar said, “I have not worked to achieve a position or post. I work for people. I live among people and try to work for them honestly, irrespective of the fact whether they are from my constituency or not. If my party leaders think that they should give a post to this party worker, I will do justice to it, the way I do justice as an MLA and work in the interest of citizens.”
“Many young MLAs from Marathwada, Vidarbha and other parts of the State are working in their segments and aspire to become ministers,” said Rohit Pawar.
He also reacted to MP Amol Kolhe’s role in a controversial film, ‘Why I killed Gandhi’. Pawar said if the film depicts wrong things and misrepresents history, he would oppose it at the personal level.
