PDCC Election | Dattatray Bharne and Appasaheb Jagdale elected unopposed as directors of Pune District Central Cooperative Bank

Pune : Policenama online – PDCC Election | Minister of State Dattatray Bharne and incumbent director Appasaheb Jagdale were elected unopposed as directors of the Pune District Central Cooperative Bank as the opponents withdrew their candidature at the last minute.
The elections of Pune District Central Cooperative Bank are considered very important in the district. The election of the bank is going to take place on January 2 and December 22 (Wednesday) was the last day of withdrawal of the nominations.
Bharne had filed the nomination from B category in the district and Jagdale had filed the nomination from A category from Indapur taluka. Four nominations had been filed against Bharne in B category and two nominations had been filed against Jagdale in A category.
All the nominations were taken back at the last minute paving the way for unopposed election of Bharne and Jagdale.
In Indapur taluka, 183 people were going to vote in the election. The NCP had given the candidature to Nimbalkar against Jagdale. Jagdale has a stronghold in the area but the voters were in a dilemma about making a choice between them. The voters heaved a sigh of relief after Jagdale was elected unopposed.
