Pune : Policenama online – The post office on Datt-Nagar Chowk Road in Katraj will be shifted soon to ‘Sardar Narveer Navji Balkwade Multipurpose Building’ near Rajas Society.
Citizens residing on Katraj-Kondhwa Road, Sukhsagar-Nagar, Khandoba Mandir locality, Katrajgaon, Gujar-Nimbalkar-Wadi, Mangade-Wadi, Bhilare-Wadi, Santosh-Nagar will benefit from this post office.
The building constructed using the ward level funds of Corporator Manisha Rajabhau Kadam will be leased to the post office. The PMC commissioner has also given approval for this process.
The post office will occupy 162.74 sq.m on the first floor of the new, well equipped two-storied building. The ground floor parking will also be used by the Post.
Mukund Badve, Senior Superintendent, Post Office Pune City West Division said that the post will be relocated after completing the administrative procedure. The people will have post facility near them due to PMC letting this place to the department.
