Four persons loot Rs 15.58 lakh from a jewellery shop worker from Nanded in Swargate

Pune : Policenama onlinePune Crime | Four persons looted over Rs 17.58 lakh from a worker from a jewellery shop from Nanded identifying themselves as ‘Anti-Corruption Bureau personnel. The incident took place on the footpath in front of Vega Center near the private passenger bus stop at around 6.30 am on March 7. (Pune Crime)

 

Madhuram Satyanarayan Soni (27), a resident of Nanded, lodged a complaint at the Swargate police station in this regard.

 

According to the police, Soni’s employee Shankar Bhalerao came to Pune on his instructions to buy gold. He alighted at the private bus stop in Swargate. Four people in a black car approached him. One of them put his hand on his shoulder and said, ‘Anti-Corruption’. They threatened him with a pistol-like weapon. Then he was forced to get into the car. They snatched the bag containing Rs 17,58,750 from him and escaped. Bhalerao reported the incident to Soni, who later arrived in Pune and lodged a complaint.
