Pune Crime News | 20-year-old girl molested by 24-year-old man during trial of T-shirt in a shop at Camp in Pune

Pune: Pune Crime News | In a shocking incident at Camp in Pune a 20-year-old girl from Mukundnagar has been molested by a 24-year-old man from a shop where the girl brought a t-shirt and was doing trial of it. The incident took place on Thursday, July 20 at Ashok Vijay Complex near Naaz Chowk on Mahatma Gandhi road at around 1 pm. The Lashkar police station has registered a case and is further investigating it.

According to the police officer from Lashkar police station, “The girl brought a t-shirt from a shop and she was trying it to check its size and whether its fitting on her, during the trial Kaif Kalimmulla Sheikh (24) a resident of Juna Bazar, Khadki approached the girl on the pretext of helping her in selecting the t-shirt. The accused told the girl that he would hold her crop t-shirt which she was wearing and while doing so he molested her.”

Mokate, sub-inspector, Lashkar police station said, ” Soon after the incident the victim lodged a complaint with us against Kaif Shaikh. We have registered the case against the accused under Indian Penal Code (IPC) section 354 and are further investigating the case.”
