Pune Crime News | Two persons held by Bharati Vidyapeeth police for robbing travellers arriving from other states

PUNE : Pune Crime News | The Bharati Vidyapeeth police have arrested two persons who were looting passengers arriving from out of the state at Katraj Chowk and their minor aide has been apprehended.
The arrested accused have been identified as Raju Nagnath Kamble alias Kalya (20) and Atharva Ravindra Adsul (20), both residents of Taljai Vasahat, Padmavati. On June 1, 2023, the arrested accused and their minor aide had looted a passenger who had arrived from another state, by threatening him with a sickle. An FIR of a robbery had been registered at the Bharati Vidyapeeth police station.
The police were searching for the accused in the robbery case. Policemen Avdhoot Jamdade, Abhinay Chowdhary and Ashish Gaikwad got information about the accused. The police verified the information and arrested the accused after laying a trap. An iron sickle and the car used in the crime have been seized.
Police Commissioner Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Pravinkumar Patil, DCP Smartana Patil, ACP Narayan Shirgaonkar guided Sr PI Vijay Kumbhar, PI Vijay Puranik, API Amol Rasal, PSI Dhiraj Gupta, policemen Avdhoot Jamdade, Abhinay Chowdhary, Ashish Gaikwad, Sachin Sarpale, Shailesh Sathe, Chetan Gore, Nilesh Dhamdhere, Mangesh Pawar, Harshal Shinde, Abhijeet Jadhav, Sachin Gade, Dhanaji Dhotre, Nilesh Khairmode, Rahul Tambe and Vikram Sawant in taking the action.
