According to the police, local residents saw that a body was floating on the river under the bridge in Shivaji Nagar at 10.30 am. They informed the police. The police rushed to the spot and took out the body from the river. The body is of a man and his age may be in the age group of 55-60.
The body has injuries on the head and ankle. The identity of the man is not known and the police are trying to find out whether it is a murder or a suicide.
