Pune Crime News Woman raped on the pretext of marriage; Incident takes place in Kondhwa

A 36-year-old woman, residing in Hinjewadi, has lodged a complaint at the Kondhwa police station. Based on the complaint, the police have registered an FIR against Sumedh Santosh Fulzele, a resident of Chandrapur under sections 376, 376(2) (N) and 506 of the IPC.

According to the police, the accused told the complainant to take divorce from her first husband and promised to marry her. Later, the accused took the victim to Kharadi and forcefully had sex with her. He recorded a video of the act. After the victim asked him about marriage, he threatened to make the video viral and threatened to kill her, the complaint states. The Kondhwa police are carrying out further investigation.
