Pune : The body of a woman was found in Saswad near Pune yesterday (June 15) morning. It has now been revealed that the woman’s eight-year-old son was also killed. The woman’s name is Alia Sheikh and her son’s name is Ayan Sheikh. Alia’s husband Abid Sheikh is still missing.
The family lives in the Dhanori area of Pune and four days ago, Abid Sheikh had rented a Breeza car for a picnic. The family went out for a picnic, but Alia’s body was found in Saswad village yesterday morning. While the Saswad police were investigating the murder, the body of an eight to ten-year-old boy was also found near the new Katraj tunnel in the evening.
While the Katraj police were investigating the murder, it was revealed that Ayan was the son of Alia whose body was found in Saswad yesterday morning. It has been found that the Breeza car rented by Abid Sheikh was left in front of a cinema on Pune-Satara road. Abid Sheikh works as a branch manager in one of the companies.
Police are investigating why the mother and child were killed and where Abid Sheikh is. The matter will come to light only after Abid Sheikh’s whereabouts are known. However, the police are facing a challenge to unravel the mystery of this double murder.
