Pune News: 411 hectares of land will be forcefully acquired in 31 villages for ring road project
PUNE: Policenama online – Pune News | Land acquisition in 35 villages in the western part and 49 villages in the eastern part has been planned for the important ring road project. So far, acquisition of 205 hectares out of 721 hecatres has been completed. Since farmers in the western part have refused to willingly hand over the land, 411 hectares of land in 31 villages will be acquired in a forceful manner. The district administration so far has disbursed ₹1,300 crore for 205 hectares. (Pune News)
The MSRDC had provided funds of ₹1,035 crore to the district administration. Of that disbursement of ₹1,021 crore has been done. Later, funds of ₹636 crore were given. Of that ₹200 crore has been given for Maval taluka, ₹400 crore for Haveli taluka and ₹36 crore for Bhor taluka. Of that, ₹50 crore has been distributed in Haveli taluka and ₹200 crore in Maval taluka. Totally, ₹1,300 crore has been distributed.
Permission to forcefully acquire the land in 31 villages in the western part and 4 villages in the eastern part has been given in a meeting of the district committee. Acquisition of 516 hecatres of land has been proposed. Of this, 105 hectares is in the eastern part and 411 hectare land in 31 villages in the western part. Of this, 205 hectare land has been acquired in 31 villages. In majority of the villages, large scale acquisition of land has not taken place. Some land has been acquired and the remaining land is to be acquired. Hence, 411 hecatre land in 31 villages is to be compulsorily acquired, the district administration said.

Mulshi: Javal, Kemsewadi, Ambadvet, Pimpvali, Padghalwadi, Rihe, Matiwadi, Ghotawade, Urawade, Marnewadi, Ambegaon, Mutha and Katwadi
Maval: Urse, Parandwadi, Bebal Ovhal, Dhamne, Chandkhed and Pachane
Haveli: Thoptewadi, Mandvi Burdruk, Mordarwadi, Khamgaon, Maval, Vaddare, Malkhed, Sangrun, Bhagatwadi, Kalyan, Rahatwade and Bahuli
Bhor: Kusgaon and Ranje
