Pune News | PMC constructed roads turns into potholes, AAP protested by planting trees in potholes

Pune: Pune News | The roads which have been constructed by the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) at the expense of crores of rupees of taxpayers have now turned into potholes. The Punekar have to go through lots of inconveniences due to potholes. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Friday, July 28 protested against the PMC and also planted trees in the potholes and a boat was released in the water at Hadapsar.

Sachin Kotwal, party worker from AAP said, ” We have done the tree plantation with the intention of stopping the effort of digging roads in gravel every year as soon as the monsoon starts and also to make people see the corrupt management of the PMC. Swapnil Gore, Shok Harpale, Sunil Harpale, Shahaji Mohite, Ravi Late, Shubham Hange, Deepali Sardeshmukh of AAP and also citizens participated on behalf of Maharashtra Alert Citizen Forum.”

Kotwal said, ” The PMC collects thousands of crores of tax from the taxpayers but does not get such facilities. We from AAP, Hadapsar area came together to protest against PMC and also raised slogans against the Pune civic body.’
