Pune: SPPU News | Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), a nationally renowned institution, is all set to celebrate its Amrit Mahotsavi year (Platinum Jubilee Year) throughout the academic year 2023-24. To mark this momentous occasion, a series of activities and events have been planned.

 

One of the highlights of the Amrit Mahotsavi year is the badge competition, where participants are invited to submit their designs for the official emblem. The university has opened the competition to all, allowing individuals to showcase their creativity and design skills. The deadline for submitting entries in this competition is August 17th.

 

Participants in the badge competition stand a chance to win a prize of Rs 50,000 for the first-place winner. The university has provided technical information and guidelines for the submission process, including the required format for presenting the symbols along with a 100-word analysis.

 

The badges received from contestants will undergo a thorough review by a committee at one or more levels. From the entries received, the committee will select the finalists whose designs will be considered for the official emblem of the Amrit Mahotsavi year.

 

Both online and offline submissions are accepted, allowing participants to choose the method most convenient for them. The university encourages individuals from all backgrounds and creative abilities to take part in this competition, fostering a sense of inclusivity and diverse perspectives.
