UP: Four of a family killed in road accident

Pratapgarh (UP), May 27 (UNI) Four members of a family were killed when a motorcycle collided with a car in Kotwali Nagar area of Pratapgarh district here in Uttar Pradesh on Saturday, police here said.
Police said the incident took place near Prithviganj town on Varanasi-Lucknow highway when the motorcycle collided with the car.
Manoj Singh (35), a resident of Mahabal village under Sangipur police station, and his son Shivam who were travelling on the motorcycle were killed on the spot.

Police said Manoj’s wife Seema Singh (34) and daughter Sapna (10) were seriously injured in the accident and taken to the medical college from where they were referred to Prayagraj.
Seema and Sapna succumbed to their injuries in Prayagraj, police added.
