Pune: As the nation gears up for the upcoming Lok Sabha General Election in 2024, a total of 129 police inspectors across the Maharashtra Police Division have been reassigned. These transfers come in compliance with directives from the Central Election Commission in New Delhi and have been executed under the supervision of the Additional Director General of Police (Establishment), Sanjeev Kumar Singhal.
The transfer orders, which have recently been issued, affect 40 police inspectors within the Pune city police Commissionerate and 13 police inspectors within the Pimpri Chinchwad Commissionerate.
