PUNE : Pune Crime News | A notorious criminal had been shot on Mohammadwadi Road in the limits of Wanawadi police station. The incident took place on June 5 at 11.30 pm. The AEC of Pune police Crime Branch has arrested two people in connection with the case.

Notorious criminal Pacchis alias Faizan Ramazan Shaikh (21, a resident of Kondhwa) had been shot at. In connection with the case, the AEC has arrested Chetan Balu Jadhav (21), a resident of Hadapsar and Yash Sunil Sasane, a resident of Mohammadwadi. The action was taken by a team led by Sr PI Pratap Mankar.

Many cases of causing harm to the body are registered against Pacchis alias Faizan Ramazan Shaikh. Faizan Shaikh and the accused have had disputes oer some issues. When Khan was passing through Mohammadwadi area, two people riding a motorcycle, fired at him and disappeared. A bullet entered Shaikh’s stomach and he was injured. He was admitted to Sassoon Hospital and his condition is stable.The police rushed to the sport after being informed about the incident. An FIR has been registered at the Wanawadi police station and the police have apprehended one person.

Addl CP Rajan Kumar Sharma, DCP Amol Zende, DCP Vikrant Deshmukh, DCP Suhail Sharma, ACP Satish Govekar, Sr PI Pratap Mankar, Sr PI Bhausaheb Patare, Sr PI Shirhari Bahirat, Sr PI Ulhas Kadam and other officials and staff had visited the spot.
Meanwhile, AEC-2 officials and policemen were on the trail of the accused. Sr Pi Pratap Mankar got information that the accused were in Old Modi Khana in Pune Camp. The information was verified. The police laid a trap and arrested them.

The action was taken by Sr PI Pratap Mankar of AEC-2, API Changdev Sajgane, PSI Shrikant Chavan, PSI Mohandas Jadhav, policemen Sudhir Ingle, Shankar Sampte, Pradip Shitole, Rahul Uttarkar, Vinod Salunkhe, Sadoba Bhojrao, Sangram Shingare, Pavan Bhosle, Surendra Jagdale, Chetan Shirolkar, Surendra Jagdale, Sachin Ahivale and other policemen under the guidance of CP Retesh Kumaarr, Joint CP Sandeep Karnik, Addl CP Ramnath Pokale, DCP Amol Zende, ACP Satish Govekar.
