The Swargate police have arrested Faizal Alias Gatya Karim (26), a resident of Gultekdi. Aziz Sherkhan Shaikh (52), a resident of Gultekdi, has lodged a complaint (156/23) at the Swargate police station.
According to the police, the complainant and the accused are known to each other. On Saturday, at 9 am, the complainant was talking with his friend Karim Sayyad and the accused Faizal came there. He asked the complainant why he had not booked a car for him to go to Mumbai when he had told him a day earlier. He threatened to kill him and assa ulted him with an iron rod. The police have registered an FIR of an attempt tomurder and arrested Shaikh and he is a criminal on police records. API Jamdade is probing the case.
