Pune Metro | Enhanced Connectivity: PMPML’s Feeder Buses to Serve Pune Metro Commuters

Pune: Pune Metro | In a significant move to enhance last-mile connectivity, the Pune Metropolitan Transport Corporation (PMPML) is planning to introduce metro feeder bus services from Vanaz to Shivajinagar Civil Court and Pimpri-Chinchwad to Shivajinagar Civil Court metro stations.

To discuss the implementation of this new service, Sachindra Pratap Singh, Chairman, and Managing Director of PMPML, along with Manoj Kumar Daniel, Operation Manager of Mahametro, recently visited the Shivajinagar Civil Court Metro Station on Friday, the 21st of July.

The introduction of these metro feeder bus routes aims to address the transportation needs of commuters traveling to and from these prominent metro stations in Pune. With improved connectivity, this initiative seeks to ease the daily commute for thousands of passengers.

As part of the plan, the metro feeder bus service will efficiently connect the Vanaz area to the bustling Shivajinagar Civil Court Metro Station. Additionally, the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation will also enjoy enhanced connectivity with the Shivajinagar Civil Court Metro Station through this new bus service.

Furthermore, PMPML has also devised additional routes to expand the reach of the feeder bus service. Two new bus routes, Bus Route No. 36 and Bus Route No. 204, have been proposed to operate from the Shivajinagar Court Metro Station. Bus Route No. 36 will provide convenient transportation between Shivajinagar Court Metro Station and Chinchwadgaon, while Bus Route No. 204 will facilitate travel from Hadapsar (Bhekrainagar) to Chinchwadgaon, passing through the Shivajinagar Court Metro Station.

The introduction of these feeder bus routes comes as welcome news for commuters, who have long sought efficient connectivity options to and from the metro stations. With the expansion of the PMPML’s services, residents and visitors of Pune can expect a smoother and more convenient travel experience.
