Pune News | Pimpri Chinchwad Takes Steps to Reduce Traffic Issues with Restrictions on Heavy Vehicles and Buses

Pimpri : Pune News | To solve the traffic jam in Pimpri-Chinchwad, the police have imposed some restrictions on the movement of heavy vehicles and private passenger buses in the city. Heavy vehicles, private passenger buses will be prohibited from entering Pimpri-Chinchwad for four hours in the morning and four hours in the evening. The order in this regard has been issued by Additional Commissioner of Police Vasant Pardeshi.

 

Population is increasing rapidly due to industrialization. The city is also expanding rapidly. Workers travel to and from Katraj to Rawet national highway to work in Chakan, Talegaon MIDC and Talwade, Hinjewadi information technology sector. Apart from this, the vehicles of people working in Talegaon, Chakan as well as Talwade, Hinjewadi are getting extra load. Therefore, the heavy traffic in the city area has been changed.

 

Triveninagar to Talwadegaonthan, Triveninagar via Talwade IT Park, Parandwal-Khandelwal intersection Talwade, Chikhli Gavthan-Diamond Chowk to Ramkrishnahari Chowk and road from Ramakrishnahari Chowk to IT Park Chowk to Talwadegaonthan to Parandwal Chowk, Diamond Chowk to Kudalwadi Bridge and Kudalwadi Heavy vehicles will be banned from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 9 pm on the road coming from Breeze to Diamond Chowk, from Krishna, Sane Chowk, Newalevasti from left to Pingle Chowk-Sonwane Vasti-Jyotibanagar Chowk.

 

Entry from Bhakti-Shakti Chowk to Triveninagar Chowk, from Talwade Road to Bhakti-Shakti Chowk, from Triveninagar, Durga Chowk to Tilak Chowk, from Tharmax Chowk to Khandobamal Chowk will be closed from 7 am to 12 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm. Entry from Chikhali Police Station to Shahonagar Chowk, KSB Chowk will be closed from 8 AM to 11 AM and 5 PM to 9 PM. Entry from Sambhaji Chowk to Khandobamal Chowk will be closed from 8 am to 12 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm.

 

Heavy traffic from River View Chowk in Chinchwad to Mahaveer Chowk Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk will be closed from 9 AM to 11 AM and 5 PM to 9 PM. Heavy vehicles, private passenger buses will be closed from 8am to 11am and 5pm to 9pm from Jayka Cha to PMT Chowk, Maiwadewale Chowk to Banacha Odha, Nashikphata Chowk to Harish Bridge in Bhosari.

 

Access will be closed from 8 am to 12 am, 5 pm to 9 pm for going to Indian Oil Chowk from Wakad Pulao and from Wakad Naka, and from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 9 pm for turning left from Mycar Showroom to Hinjewadi on the Mumbai-Bangalore highway. Rajiv Gandhi Bridge in Sangvi – Kalewadi Phata flyover via Rakshak Chowk, Rajiv Gandhi Bridge via Rakshak Chowk, Kalewadi Phata to Tapkir Chowk via M. M. Chowk, Empire Estate, between Kaspte Chowk and Sangvi Traffic Division limits via Savitribai Phule Chowk, Shiwar, Kokane, Mhasoba Chowk Nashik Phata, on the road going to and coming from 8 AM to 11 AM and 5 PM to 9 PM heavy vehicles, if private passengers sit Heavy vehicles and private passenger buses will be banned on the road leading to Pimple Gurav via Mhasoba Chowk and the road leading to Sangvi village from Sangvi Fata from 5 pm to 9 pm.

 

From Wakdanaka, Kaspate Chowk, Birla Hospital to Bhumkar Chowk, Ginger Hotel, Mycar Showroom, Shani Mandir, Jaguar Showroom from Seva Road to Bhumkar Chowk, from Wakadgaon Chowk to Dattamandir Road to Wakad, from Tapkir Chowk to Thergaon Fata to heavy vehicles on the road in Thergaon from seven to eleven in the morning, Entry will be restricted from 5 pm to 9 pm.

 

Entry to and from Sooskhind to Nandegaon route will be closed from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 9 pm. After coming to Pimpri Bridge from Pimpri Chowk, while turning left and towards Shagun Chowk, entry is closed from 8 am to 11 am and 5 pm to 9 pm. Entry of heavy vehicles from Bhatnagar to the market is closed from 8 am to 12 pm and from 5 pm to 9 pm. Shagun, Sai, Arya Samaj Chowk to Karachi Chowk, Shagun, Deluxe Chowk Kalewadi Pulapar…
