Pune | Std. X student hangs himself in Karvenagar

Pune : Policenama online – A Std X student hanged himself at his residence on Friday night. The incident took place at Kakade City in Karvenagar. The victim has been identified as Adi Amit Karve (15), a resident of Kakade City, Karve road.

According to Senior Police Inspector Shankar Khatke, Adi, his parents and sister live in Kakade City housing society. His father is a private bank employee. His mother is a teacher in the Abhinav School. His elder sister is studying in a college. Adi was a Std. X student of a nearby school. Other members of the family had gone out for their personal work on Friday night.

His sister came back home in the evening. She found Adi hanging in the house. She immediately informed her parents. He was rushed to a hospital. However, he was declared dead before arrival in the hospital.

The Warje Malwadi police were intimated about the incident. The reason behind the suicide could not be known.
