Pune Crime News | 36-year-old man staying at Nanded area of Sinhagad Road killed
PUNE : A 36-year-old man staying in Nanded area of Sinhagad Road was killed after being assaulted with sharp weapons. The incident happened on Monday morning and has created a flutter in the area.
The deceased has been identified as Rahul Chandrakant Atole (36), a resident of Haveli taluka in Pune district. After they were informed, officials and policemen rushed to the spot and started a probe.
Rahul Chandrakant Atole staying in Gosavi Vasti in Nanded area used to sell guavas for a living. On Monday morning, local residents saw a body lying in the bushes. They informed the Haveli police.
After being informed, PI Sachin Wangde, PSI Dilip Shinde, havaldar Ashok Taru, police naik Santosh Bhapkar, Pravin Takawane and Rajendra Munde rushed to the spot. The police feel that someone may have assaulted Atole with sharp weapons over some reason and thrown his body in the bushes.
It is unclear why Atole was killed and by whom. The body has been for post-mortem to the Sassoon Hospital. The Haveli police are carrying out a probe.
