Pune : Policenama online – Pune Crime | A minor fight took an ugly turn as a young man assaulted his friend with a knife and killed him. Later, he surrendered at the Faraskhana police station.
The victim has been identified as Aman Ashok Yadav (26). The incident happened on Wednesday morning near the RCM Gujarati High School.
According to the police, the accused, Patil, and the victim are garbage collectors. They had a minor fight a couple of days ago. Patil was upset over the issue. They again had a dispute near the school. Patil attacked Yadav with a knife and killed him. Later, Patil surrendered at the police station.
The police inspected the spot, where the incident happened, and found Yadav’s body there. The body has been sent to the Sassoon General Hospital for a post-mortem. The accused has been arrested.
