Pune: Pune Crime News | The directors of Narayan Ambika Infra Pvt Ltd have been booked for committing a fraud amounting to Rs 3 crore by signing an agreement to sell a plot of land in Mulshi taluka and taking Rs 3 crore to repay the loan on the land. However, the company sold the land to someone else and did not return the money even after 12 years.
Kailas Babulal Wani (55) lodged a complaint in this regard at the Shivajinagar police station. The directors of Narayan Ambika Pvt Ltd, Kailas Garg and Pawan Kailaschand Garg, have been booked.
The incident took place from June 22, 2011 till date.
According to the police, the complainant owns Kaivalya Enterprises, which is a land developer firm. It came to know that Kailas Garg’s Narayan Ambika Infra wanted to sell the land at Kasar Amboli in Mulshi taluka. When contacted, Garg told them that a loan had already been taken on the land and they would have to keep a security deposit of Rs 3 crore without interest. Thus, the complainant paid the money. A development agreement was signed on June 22, 2022. The complainant fenced the land for its security. However, Garg did not repay the loan on the land. The complainant also came to know that he had taken another loan on the land. Hence, the complainant decided to cancel the deal. The cheques issued by Garg bounced.
The complainant came to know that Garg, in connivance with bank officials, made a separate deal on the said land with another developer and sold it to them in a hush-hush manner.
The complainant then approached the Economic Offences Wing and lodged the complaint. PSI Chowdhary is investigating the matter.
